Henderson County Club to bring back Lauritsen as director
Kevin Lauritsen will return as executive director of the Henderson County Boys and Girls Club this summer after Scottie Parks joins Boys & Girls Clubs of America in Atlanta. Lauritsen led growth from 1999 to 2011, doubling space and tripling membership, and implementing key youth programs. Parks will serve as project director for a BGCA grant with a background in finance and information technology. The club, opened in 1993, serves over 1,500 youths annually with a $5 annual family membership.
