Tankers to Leave Hendersonville Rail Line Soon
City Manager John Connet told the Hendersonville City Council that railroad tankers moved from Flat Rock to Hendersonville will be removed in coming weeks. Watco said eight to ten cars are being taken off the line at a time and no exact removal date was given. The tankers were stored on the Hendersonville tracks after owners paused production amid a nationwide tanker glut.
