County keeps current auditor after split vote
Henderson County commissioners voted 4-1 to rehire Martin Starnes & Associates for a three year audit contract at 69,000 for 2019 and 71,000 for 2020 and 2021. Commissioner William Lapsley dissented citing a prior commitment to hire a new auditor and concerns about changing teams and deadlines.
