Flat Rock buys Highland Lake golf course for park plan
Flat Rock Village Council voted to buy the 66 acre Highland Lake tract for a park. The plan, backed by an exploratory committee report, includes trails playgrounds and picnic shelters with costs kept in check to avoid tax increases. The council will form a park advisory group as negotiations with the owner continue.
