Special Needs adds basketball and cheerleading program
Hendersonville area launches Special Needs sports expansion with basketball and cheerleading. Founder Donnie Jones, longtime coach and former Edneyville High School graduate, aims to grow participation to about 150 in spring at Jackson Park and Hendersonville Elementary School gym. The program welcomes all ages and abilities with two wheelchair teams and multiple age groups.
