Flat Rock Wins 51000 Grant For Bicycle Plan
The Village of Flat Rock received a 51000 bicycle and pedestrian planning grant from the North Carolina Department of Transportation to map village pathways. Mayor Bob Staton said the funding enables an overall plan and regional coordination with county and other municipalities to develop greenways and safe routes. The plan may link to a countywide master greenways plan to connect trails and paths.
