Man of Steel builds camera boom for Freedom Tower rise

Mills River fabricator Phil Weber, longtime welder and steel fabricator, completes a 14 foot 4 inch camera boom used by Time magazine atop One World Trade Center. His shop produced the boom after prior work including a camera support for a Greenville eye plant, with steel and aluminum components fastened to a spire anchor. The project marks his ascent to a peak in U S construction and photography collaboration.

Mills River on beer label as Mills River joins Chico origin

Sierra Nevada will print Mills River on its beer labels alongside Chico California origin. Communications Manager Ryan Arnold says the label will claim both locations but remain universal, with Pale Ale branding unchanged. See Label, page 13.
