Vegan chili cook-off returns from Sanctuary Brewing and Full Circle Farm Sanctuary

Sanctuary Brewing Co hosts the third annual vegan chili cook-off with Full Circle Farm Sanctuary on Sunday March 19 from 2 to 5 PM to celebrate the Great American Meatout. Celebrity chef Laura Theodore assists with a judge’s prize as Modern Strangers perform. entry fee is 15 dollars, with 15 adult tickets and 10 for children.

Emergency preparedness class offered this month

The Henderson County Sheriff's Office offers an emergency preparedness class from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday March 13 and 2 to 4 p.m. Tuesday March 14. Both sessions cover the same material as Sheriff Charles Mc Donald emphasizes community safety and empowerment through preparation before emergencies.

Mulch Giveaway Begins This Week in City
