Mills River to add park amenities in new budget year
Mills River Town Board adopted a 2.5 million budget keeping the 18 cent tax rate while funding police at 646000, adding park improvements including a 45000 shade structure, 6000 tree planting, 5000 automated gate, a 217000 picnic shelter and restroom, and 125000 basketball court. The town seeks a Parks and Recreation Trust Fund grant with a 50 50 match.
