Laurel Park Adopts 2014 15 Budget With Tax Increase
Laurel Park Town Council unanimously approves a 2.16 million budget for 2014 15 raising the property tax rate to 39 cents per 100 valuation from 36 cents. The measure funds pay raises fire protection and health care premiums, while water and sewer rates stay level. The plan includes Blackboard Connect for resident alerts and plans to update the land use plan plus new communications initiatives.
