New residential and commercial construction rise in year to May
The fiscal year through May shows residential construction up 15 percent to 103.6 million and commercial work up 168 percent to 55.4 million. July 1 to May 31 totals reach 159 million, up 43.6 percent, while remodeling holds steady at 35.5 million.
