Absher faces new charge after threatening school staff
Henderson County official Michael Absher, already facing a misdemeanor case, is charged with threatening East Henderson High School teaching assistant Tony Carswell. Carswell, 65, reported Absher's verbal threat after Absher claimed board member status and refused to sign in. Absher retaliated by filing a no contact order against Carswell, alleging prior aggression and on campus encounters.
