Climbing Kilimanjaro Raises Polio Eradication Funds
Sarah Leatham and Alison Alexander plan a five day Kilimanjaro ascent to boost Rotary International efforts to End Polio Now. The pair joined after Rotary introductions and will be joined by their husbands and a dozen porters on the climb. funds support immunization campaigns in Pakistan Afghanistan and Nigeria. The Gates Foundation doubles donations up to 35 million annually.
