Hendersonville council rejects higher density zoning on Third Ave
The Hendersonville City Council unanimously rejected IAM's rezoning request from R-15 to R-6 for a three acre Third Avenue West parcel. Neighbors argued a density jump to 27 units would devalue single family homes and create discomfort. Council favored preserving neighborhood character and suggested a Planned Residential Development with specifics before any future proposal.
