Henderson County expands park with 13.5 acre forest addition
Henderson County commissioners cut a ribbon last week for a 13.5 acre forest adjoining East Flat Rock Park. The county bought the parcel for 398200 in April to expand recreation. Plans call for a master plan by the Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee and a consultant. The slope likely rules out a sportsplex.
