Preservation board approves Renzo's restaurant plans
Hendersonville Historic Preservation Commission last week approved work on Renzo's Fine Italian Ristorante including a new awning and three ground floor windows on the south wall facing Fifth Avenue East. Renzo Maietto has leased the former Mrs. G & Me space for an upscale Italian restaurant with Old World flair. Architect Bill O'Cain proposed three ground floor windows with awnings on the same side as the building's eight second floor windows in the 99‑year‑old brick structure.
