Hendersonville News Briefs Highlight Rumors and Historic Tours
A rumor spread via social media blamed the Henderson County Recreation Department and county commissioners for canceling a Special Needs Baseball game on June 14. Donnie Jones, founder of the league, says he canceled the game and criticizes the spread of false information. The issue contrasts with America In Bloom judging praising Hendersonville and nearby areas for historic preservation. Historic Flat Rock announces four private home tours, including the Dunroy estate and St John in the Wilderness, with proceeds benefiting Historic Flat Rock Inc. Proceeds may fund Mountain Lodge cleanup and sale.
