Community bike path advocate Joe Sanders drives greenway work
Joe Sanders, 65, a retired electrical engineer and avid cyclist, attends planning drop-ins to build consensus for public bicycle and pedestrian paths. A longtime rider with his wife Peggy, he leads and inspires as he chairs and serves on multiple local greenway groups and study committees. Studies show health savings from biking, and Sanders notes many shifted from medications to exercise.
