Mills River poised for 172 new jobs with $27 million plant
Mills River lines up a $27.1 million industrial plant to create as many as 172 jobs, with $34,176 in seven year incentives from the town and $783,625 from the county. The project, code named Project Granite, includes $10.7 million for the plant and $16.5 million for machinery, and features performance based grants contingent on meeting wage and employment goals. BRCC training will align with company needs.
