Five running for sheriff Griffin seeks board seat
Bill Moss reports a crowded 2014 Henderson County ballot with five candidates for sheriff and Tim Griffin announcing a bid for the County Board of Commissioners. Others running include Michael Brown Eric Summey and incumbent Charlie McDonald with Republican and Democrat contenders joining the field. Brown Summey and Sieber are veteran officers adding competition while Katz seeks sheriff as a Democrat. If Griffin wins a board seat he could shift the balance on the commission.
