Apple Growers honor Don Justus in Henderson County
Don Justus, longtime Henderson County apple farmer, was named grower of the year by the Blue Ridge Apple Growers. He operates a family orchard on Garren Road in Fruitland with 19 apple varieties plus pumpkins and berries, runs a U Pick operation, and markets fried pies, ciders, jams, and more while managing ALS. His sons Chris and Cory assist on the farm alongside his wife Margo and extended family, ensuring a multigenerational future.
