Stein draws SRO crowd at Democratic HQ in North Carolina
Attorney General and gubernatorial candidate Josh Stein urged a standing room only crowd at Democratic Party headquarters to back him and Democrats in November. He announced a lawsuit against Mission Health HCA for noncompliance with terms of its sale, citing 500 plus complaints and demanding hospital improvements in emergency and cancer services. He noted the sale review found price fair and charitable proceeds for Dogwood Health Trust, and he outlined extended state monitoring from five to ten years.
