Triskelion Brewery set to open New Year’s Eve in Hendersonville

Jonathan and Becky Ayers plan a New Year’s Eve launch for Triskelion Brewing Co in Hendersonville’s Historic Seventh Avenue District with seven tanks ready. The couple will serve food and several beers including Punkadelic Porter and two IPAs, alongside collaboration with local eateries Marco's Sol y Luna and Daddy D's. Regular hours start 4 p.m. to midnight on Thursdays and Fridays and noon to midnight Saturdays.

Farm grower notes reduced harvests and staffing gaps

Tillis reports 20 acres of strawberries 50 acres of apples and 60 acres of vegetables plus specialty crops. McConnell says 25 farmworkers are needed at peak season but only half were available this summer. He adds they left some crops in the field and apples were lighter than expected due to the shortfall.
