Hendersonville zoning bid denied for 554 parking spaces plan
Five Henderson County commissioners rejected the rezoning request for a mixed use development near South Rugby, citing traffic concerns and process worries. Opponents warned of increased runoff, river impact, and character change while proponents argued 206 multi family units could be built with minimal rezoning. The developer may revise a plan to fit existing rules and proceed with development.
