City Council to review King Street parallel parking plan
Hendersonville engineers propose adding 20 on street spaces on West King Street from Second to Sixth Avenues by removing the left travel lane in blocks 400 and 500 and painting a 9 foot 6 inch parking lane at an estimated cost of 3000 dollars. The plan draws objections from Councilman Jeff Miller who cites pedestrian hazards and traffic delays.
