Katz Defeats McDonald in Henderson County Sheriff Race
Democratic candidate Marty Katz reports endorsements from Republicans Tim Griffin and Michael Brown. Griffin, a former sheriff’s captain, and Brown, a three time Sheriff’s candidate, push Katz as a nonpartisan reformer who would protect deputy due process and avoid politics in the office. Katz vows public safety over politics with a policy of job security and due process for deputies, while declining donations from sheriff’s office staff or vendors.
