Hendersonville cyclists visit Minneapolis bike culture
Hendersonville officials, planners, hospital reps and biking enthusiasts toured Minneapolis as part of a Quality Bicycle Products sponsored workshop to learn about bike boulevards, rail trails, and a $25 million bike-walk project that has grown to 170 miles of trails. Delegates noted potential for a similar setup in North Carolina with cross-sector buy-in, DOT support, and expanded bike lanes and routes.
