County seeks contractor for Ecosta Trail first six miles
Henderson County plans another bid opening after only two bids were received for the six mile Ecosta Trail segment from Busy Bend to Battle Creek Road. County officials expect to re advertise, aiming to select a contractor in the coming weeks with grading and a hard packed base by year end and paving next spring. The trail will vary in width from 12 to 14 feet and extend toward Horse Shoe, with completion contingent on securing a bidder.
