Henderson County raises cap on health facility
Henderson County commissioners last week raised the maximum borrowable amount for a new health sciences building from 16.5 million to 26.5 million to cover Pardee Hospital space. The project serves Wingate University BRCC and Pardee clinics with labs and offices. County Attorney Russ Burell explained the figure is a cap not a binding quote, tied to space needs that may expand by 25 to 30 thousand square feet.
