Bernies generosity funds Pardee cancer navigator room
Bernies generosity supports Pardee cancer center in Henderson County and honors Leann Noakes, one of Pardee’s patient navigators. The 81 year old Linder recalls his colon cancer treatment and the pivotal care from Dr. William Medina, Dr. Stuart Glassman, and especially Noakes, whose attitude helped make the ordeal bearable. The couple’s $10,000 donation backs the cancer center’s patient navigator room as part of a $30 million regional health project.
