Henderson County Eyes America in Bloom National Award
Henderson County and Hendersonville await judging for the America in Bloom competition. A local committee trash plans a 25 page profile book highlighting Main Street plantings, parks, and neighborhoods to impress judges on six criteria including landscaping and environmental efforts. If successful, the county would gain national recognition boosting travel. Committee members include Mia Freeman and others from local government and garden clubs.
