Henderson County first quarter construction, tourism study cited
Construction data show first quarter values up 5.2 percent to 26 million with 177 remodeling jobs up from 133. Residential and commercial remodeling total 9.1 million, up 4.8 percent. Tourism spurred 218.44 million direct spending and 1,960 jobs, cutting tax burden by 349 per household.
