Hendersonville Planning Board voted 5-3 to recommend the City Council deny a rezoning request and special use permit for a new Hendersonville High School. They cited safety traffic and neighborhood compatibility concerns as county officials outlined a $54 million design opposed by students faculty and alumni. The board’s action is advisory as county design plans proceed toward a May 4 City Council meeting.
