Alta Planning presented a Mills River NC 280 corridor study proposing a separate greenway from Buncombe County to Brevard linking Westfeldt Park Old NC 191 Mills River roads Mills River Town Park and Brevard Bike Path with a future bridge over Mills River and a potential Beerway from Oskar Blues Brewhouse to Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. The plan aims for a path usable by families and kids, safety separated from traffic and connections to Ecusta Trail Brevard Trail and Pisgah National Forest.
