Butte September 26 AP Wages of all daily payroll employees at the Anaconda Copper Mining Company in the Butte mines and at the Anaconda and Great Falls smelters and refineries will rise 50 cents a day on October 1. The increase lasts while the average daily price of electrolytic copper stays at 15 cents a pound or higher in the National Engineering and Mining Journal. Miners contract prices will be adjusted proportionately. Other district mining companies also agreed to the raise after a conference between labor representatives and company officials.
