Teaching the Law of Nehemiah in Sunday School Lesson
Old fashioned believers see a global crisis over law in daily life as the International Sunday school lesson for September 16 centers on teaching the law of Moses. The restored Jews read the law to rekindle national solidarity while confronting lawlessness and the need for obedience to the Ten Commandments as a universal guide. The piece notes the public reading, the role of lay readers, and the enduring relevance of biblical law in civilization.

Iowa Priest Builds Multicolored Grotto at West Bend
West Bend Iowa Sept 14 Priest Rev I M Dobberstein has spent over six years and plans more to build a grotto of the world’s story from Eden to the present. He has used 11 freight car loads of stone and estimates 18 more will be needed at a cost near 186000. The site includes a lake and parish buildings with a luncheon fundraiser aiding construction. The grotto features scenes from Adam and Eve to the Resurrection with Venetian mosaics and stalactite roofs, and Dobberstein hopes the final piece will rival its majestic ambition.

Eternal law of the living God guiding life
The passage argues that temporary legal problems pale beside the timeless Law of the living God. It contends that true soundness, safety, and the sweetness of life come from keeping this eternal divine law rather than human legislations.
