A four-seat monoplane crashed while approaching Van Dixald airport in St. Joseph county. Allanbaugh, 46, pilot, and passengers Lloyd Butz, 26, Misha waka Avhig M Beebe, 50, South Bend, Fred J. Kifer, 59, Houston, were killed. Selge, 19, of South Bend, piloted a biplane involved. Elredge, 16, also aboard unhurt.
