Coroner jury rules death accidental. Survivors include widow and four daughters, two brothers Dr KW Arnold Adrian Minn and David A Arnold, two sisters Mrs A Cushman and Miss Peggy Arnold.
Angeronda Santo Jaseph Sipoman aged 69 of Philpaburg died in a local hospital from injuries after falling from a run back and a wheel of the vehicle passed over him on Flint Creek Hill Highway 110 near Georgetown. An inquest will be held next week. Funeral services in Sleaman were planned for Saturday in Philipeburg.
Shanghai dispatch reports Japanese land and warship batteries beginning a furious bombardment of Chinese positions at the northern boundary of the International Settlement. A giant nine-ich shell struck the barricades manned by U.S. Marines, its 150 pound projectile crashing into a Chinese warehouse and narrowly missing United States Marines and Chinese troops. The bombardment continued through last night, endangering the American positions and prompting grave peril for both sides.

Abe Keeviner, 40, once dubbed the Potato King, fell six stories from a window of the Wiebtre medical building and landed on a parked car. He suffered a broken arm, back and shoulder bruises, and possible internal injuries. Dr. Henry Lissner, who had visited Keeviner earlier, said he had been treated for a nervous ailment for months.
