Lewistown Man Killed in Crash with Park County Convoy
A. M. Muneiner, 0, longtime Lewistown resident and former Milwaukee railroad master, died when his car struck a convoy of Park County trucks carrying heavy tong equipment. His wife, about 55, Mrs. Maxelner, is in critical condition with a crushed chest and back. Drivers Scofield, Crosby, Miser and Triplett were uninjured. The accident occurred near Lewistown as Maxelner’s car collided with the second truck and trailer, then the third truck before overturning in a ditch. Maxemner, born June 13, 1873 in Galen, moved to Fergus County around 1920 and retired from the Lewistown post in 1938. Mrs. Maxemer is aunt of Dr. William F. Cashmore, Helena coroner, and has brothers Will and Alfred living in Dilton.

Portugal Indemnified For Ship Sinking
