Relief program eyed for drought regions in West

Undersecretary M I Wilson outlined a relief plan using all agriculture department and WPA resources for drought devastated western areas. He heads an informal committee to study the drought and said relief depends on Congress funding. He cited Montana as the worst, with estimates of 30 000 eastern Montana farms needing aid as seed and crops fail.

Funeral rites for Rockefeller held at Pocantico Hills

The body of John J. Rockefeller Sr. left New York for Cleveland for burial after funeral services at his Pocantico Hills estate. Ford Wage War Sparks Detroit Strike Clashes

Detroit May 26. Ford Motor Company workers beat four United Automobile Workers officials on Dearborn plant property while attempting to distribute union leaflets.
