By Associated Press Danyer May 24 coroner exonerates Mrs Vielen Cass wife of Patrolman Cass who shot and killed a man alleging attack as she entered her hats. Coroner Hunter presented Mrs Cass with roses and praised her shooting. The dead man was identified as Harry Spencer alias Edward Kensington also known as Curley Wake.

Rickenbacker narrowly escapes death in landing at Cheyenne

Captain Eddie Rickenbacker, famed American ace, arrived at 8:48 to join a transcontinental flight. Jap seal poacher caught with goods

A Japanese sealing schooner was captured by the steamship Malaspina after a confrontation. The vessel was seized along with 130 skins and the ship's crew, and the schooner destroyed as part of a government fisheries operation. The Malaspina, a Canadian patrol vessel, left port last week and overhauled the suspected sealer near the south end.
