Océ Monnea Iowa March 25 AP Hies Puy Kidwell Skycarsolt Kelley Java youth found guilty of manslaughter by district court jury for the March 23 fatal shooting of W. I. Lowe a Salvation Army fund solicitor. Kidwell charged with shooting the Des Moines man after Lowe stopped his automobile to pick up the hitchhiking growth.

New York May 25. Fritz Kuhn leader of the German American band was arrested in Krumsville Pa and indicted on 12 counts including forgery and grand larceny. The indictment accuses thefts from Madison Square Garden fundraisers and a defense fund, with $8,907.18 misappropriated from a Madison Square Garden rally last February. Kuhn faced extradition after a $10,000 bond was set and arraignment scheduled in Hamburg, Texas.

The Montana public welfare officials report that relief payments for the months of April May and June will be approximately unchanged. Auditor TOM Reanelord noted a total reimbursement of 14 900 dollars for aldeape EAS assistance and 19 000 dollars for dependent aid in Silver How county. County commissioners praised the May financials as encouraging and said the action sets a stable payment basis for the final month of the emergency period before the new year.

Prosecutions aim to bring to trial soon those who pleaded innocent including Mrs Agnes Mandiuk Mrs Christina Gertone Mrs Josephing Romcalde and David Breed with several others named.
