A chorus of home remedy advice claims meat overconsumption irritates kidneys and causes backache. Drink water, stop eating meat, and take four ounces of Lad Salts with lemon acid and lithia before breakfast to revive sluggish kidneys and soothe bladder discomfort.
At the Placer lunch in Helena Rotary revealed the new year’s standing committees including Relations International, Public Affairs, Education, Municipal Affairs, Mining and Manufactures, Band, Conventions, Publicity, Attendance, General Program, and Marquers. Members named span multiple clubs and cities with several noted observers and a university mention.
The notice urges dog owners to pay annual license taxes set at 14 dollars for males and 10 dollars for females within a grace period. Fees are due at the local office, and dogs not licensed after a reasonable time will be claimed and killed.
Secretary Max Goodsill of the Commercial club left last evening for Galesburg in response to a message stating that his sister Miss Goodsill is seriously ill. Bisen, chair, cites recent siphoning of 60 gallons from a caterpillar near Warren school and tool theft from another unit in Sergteh Gravel district, dated Tuesday.
News dispatches indicate John McHugh is likely to succeed James A Stillman as president of National City Bank, the largest financial institution in the United States. McHugh, born in Canada, rose from Cedar Rapids small banking to Sioux City leadership and New York prominence, holding multiple directing roles.

After three days of study of the competitive architectural plan for Hawthorne Schoolhouse, Prof Plew of the state college architectural engineering department, employed by the district trustees in an advisory role, will report recommendations. A final action on Hawthorne at Central School will wait on cost comparisons of the two projects.
