President Coolidge told the Pan American Commercial conference that the Pan American Union rests on equality with the United States. He said the United States will aid, not control, and called for sound thinking and cooperative effort to promote progress and freedom among western republics. World pool for wheat talked of at world wheat conference

Kansas City March 3 formation of a world organization for marketing wheat at the second annual world wheat conference opened today. C M Bunell, chairman, says the goal is world cooperation in grain marketing for farmers. He adds a world pool is unlikely, but mutual understanding may avoid price wars among cooperative markets. Nine states send representatives like Joseph Plummer of Colorado Ernest Green of Nebraska and OW Groes of South Dakota among the arrivals.

Locke’s drive for car purchases for inspectors exposed
