Montanas merchants face a pessimistic mood but monthly business failure data from R G Din Co shows only twenty four failures in Montana for the four months ending April. The report compares with seven failures in April 1920 and nine in April 1919, with total assets and liabilities listed for each month and the year to date.

Associated Press reports Scranton May 1 as tabors from unions, load-carriers and structures unions will not work tomorrow following a recently announced general wage reduction in the building trades. Delegates at a Tabor convention issued the statement.
