London reports a heavy RAF raid on Berlin marking the second Berlin strike in March. Berlin radio claimed five British planes shot down and described the raid as a near complete failure. British sources indicate substantial force and a show of Allied air strength in the ongoing bombing exchange.
AN Velena residents are invited to attend the USO open house at the new USO center in the YMCA north wing today as the center joins a national open house day.
