Howell died of heart failure at his Washington home at age 45 after attending local schools here. Imogene Howell, his mother, cannot leave his bedside while secretary to Sen. WP Walsh could not accompany the body.
Word reached Helena of the death in Oakland California of Mrs. W. Blackburn, a former Helena resident. Mrs. Blackburn had left Helena eight years earlier, once owned the controlling stake in the Helena Tea Company, which supplied the city from a plant on State Street. Burial plans unclear.
The funeral of Mike Kutugoss, who died recently at the Veterans' hospital Fort Inaretson, will be held this morning at 9 o clock in the Cathedral of St Helene. Burial will follow at the firesur cemetery. Pallbearers, ex service men connected with the hospital, include Gus Candi Fred Sherman Fanny Wopper Caesar Cavantark and John Tobias. Brave men are requested to attend the ceremonies.

Arrangements are by Klerrmann & Co.
