Governor signs session bills in Montana tax measure

Gov Sam C Ford completed the 1945 legislature’s work by signing Senate Bill 142 to reduce Montana inheritance taxes by the amount paid in another state. The 28th session sent 20k bills to the governor. 160 approved, nine vetoed. Of 1300 ate bills passed, 226 signed, three vetoed. Deadline for signatures is Saturday March 19.
