The American Red Cross war fund quota of 24000 for Lewin and Clark counties was exceeded yesterday as additional contributions from residential areas and downtown business districts were reported at headquarters. Helena residents alone contributed more than 924000, drive chairman W A Bell said, with early reports from Marynville Wolf Creek August Lincoln Canyon Ferry and Helena valley promising. When complete returns are compiled a total near 928000 is anticipated.
