Oakland Six Extends Long Record In Economy Races
The Oakland Six adds to its string of victories in economy events at Camp Curry Yosemite. A strictly stock Oakland Landau Sedan won two honors and placed second in the grand sweepstakes. The car averaged 22.86 miles per gallon over 260 miles with a 3,847 pound load, using only one pint of oil and 4 1/2 pints of water, requiring no mechanical changes.
